OMG! my thoughts exactly! White Cat was actually trying to be more than it was, but it fell short. I like the content of this show, namely the way how they explain science and spirituality, not to mention the moral issue of who is bad and who is good. I need to pay more attention to the BGM, because I am already watching the opening credits every episode to enjoy the visuals and the song - that old style Chinese opera-like singing with the modern melody. This is one of these gems like A Familiar Stranger or Fragments of Kylin (which was shot on location with amazing architecture and scenery), Oh and ML is a veteran with a lot of good roles in his portfolio

I am enjoying this regardless of the CG fx and the FL. I saw her first time this year in Limited 72 hours and surprisingly she was less annoying than other 5th grade actresses. There is an innocent sweetness to the way how she acts, and I have to say compared to the usual style of Esther (even in Love Game) she is better (more natural). I love the color palette too: the blues with rich yellow is stunning. Cat was just funny. ML reminds me of the dude from My wife's double life.

Does anybody know if he ever got to play a good character, rather than scheming, cruel and uncouth villains??? I love him to pieces and think that he rather enjoys playing these challenging roles because he is soooooooo good in them!

Come on, people! Face it: we are here either for the romance and kisses and bare chest and skinship, or (like me) to watch the female costumes, because they are fantastic!!! But I have to give it to them-aerial shots or that motorcycle chase were cool. Sort of like Princess, but at least this is shorter and spares us loooooong multi-angle repetition of the same scene. And a note to anybody who is not agreeing with me: have a wonderful day and don't get your shorts in a knot because I am loving this just as you!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

the comparison between the two ends with possibly the production crew and set, but there are tons of series this year that deal with assassins marrying into the family they try to infiltrate (My wife's double life, Double Life, etc.). MJTY ladies are kickass assassins. All 5 of them, even if some are better than others.
