Good watch to me. If you're into mysteries, political dramas, and noir thrillers with a more mature vibe (and not focused on romance), this might be perfect for you.
After re-watching, I have the following thoughts/questions:1. Sang-ah was probably a drug addict β photos, emphasis…
All About Eve was no way a recent k-drama, lol, but I don't know... I'm getting the vibes that Jung-Won seems to be in love with Sang-Ah, her competing with Sang-Ah seems too... basic? Don't know if that makes sense. This drama's been subverting quite a few cliches so it'd be refreshing to see something else.
I hope it's Sang-Ah that stabbed Kwang-Jae. Based on the promotions I've seen, there's gonna be some massive twists with her character. A rose with thorns? A woman desperate to get back on top and stay on top? The ending that was hinted at with Ju Ji-Hoon and Ha Ji-Won? She's giving me villainess/femme fatale vibes...
Not every k-drama female character is going to be an angel, or, if I may put it bluntly, idiots that act like…
Nah I touch plenty of grass (well, concrete since I live in a city.) At least I don't spend all my time on some random website fighting with people and being negative 24/7 π
All you have to do is say "I only like one-dimensional female characters" and go lmfaoooo
Thanks to fellow MDLers who reported these users. My blocking quota is full. Pls, if you recognise yourself from…
Yeah, people are going NUTS here for some reason π no clue what's going on. Even the Reddit threads and tweets are more chill than this comment section...
The funniest part is that they were speaking complete gibberish. That is NOT how French actually sounds πThis…
Just phonetics and vibes lmfaooooo
I liked the Chung-Ah/opera rivalry parallel too, but even that wore out for me after a while because I couldn't stand Eun-Byul. I was way more invested in the parents/adults. HATED the love triangle/teen romances too! Seok-Hoon (Seok-Kyung's brother) wasn't interesting enough for me and was a major douchebag, Seok-Kyung was just irritating and I never understood the hype with her lol. I was also into watching Hera Palace residents and their messiness. And, um, unpopular opinion, buuuut- I wasn't a Su-Ryeon fan π nor did I like her and Logan Lee together, it felt weird seeing her get with her daughter's adoptive/step-brother. UGH! (I'm still a Yoon-Hee fan like 5 years later lmaooo)
Return is like the legal/crime thriller equivalent to Penthouse. Just incredible. What are your thoughts on the characters so far?
