Them being besties for 7 years is literally why I struggle with seeing them in a romantic way... if you are such a close friends for such a long time, unless something big happens it's not often that the friendship changes into romantic feelings. I see all my close male friends as basically brothers, and I could never ever imagine having any romantic feelings for them.

I knew from the start they will end up together, but I wish they did better job showing us how...

I think they did a show bit with the tomato and soda scene < at this point he already has feelings for her tho. We are already at the point of him seeing her in a romantic way. He figures out he likes her 2 or 3 days later, but he already likes her during these scenes. I need to see what led to it all 🙂 For me the lead up is the most important part of the romance in dramas - that's what builds the relationship and makes me believe it's real.

Again, I get what you are saying, but the production team did not show it yet. Maybe they will with flashbacks, but I somehow doubt. They will probably focus on JH and her 7 years past, and how complicated the relationship between the 3 will be for a minute.

I get what you mean, but they also showed none of that. That's my issue. That's why the time jump was bad idea for this specific couple, because we saw none of these moments that built that romantic feeling.

I was saying JP hadn't realised his feelings for YR which is why he didn't treat her differently. < yeah but my question is where is the feeling even coming from 😂 they showed us him having ZERO romantic interest in her, to him now liking her and no explanation how and why and when... they better give a solid flashbacks, because right now it makes little sense....

i am not questioning YR still liking JP. It makes sense, they kept spending time together, he treats her well, there is no reason she would move on. I am questioning when did JP start having feelings for her coz it honestly makes little sense. He was COMPLETELY not interested in her in the past romanticaly, and they showing us that not much changed between them. Their interactions now give me same vibe their bubble gum scene in the past had. So when and how and why he started to see her in romantic light? We see him being flustered by her now, but we never saw why he is like that now... he just is and we have to accept it, coz why?

I don't need people explaining me how the episode went, I watched it. I am complaining this is not the greatest choice because it makes it hard to actually get on board with this shit when it happened out of nowhere in terms of what is shown on the screen.

As for where the other characters are, Ko Yeong Rye and Han Jae Pil - still not feeling it. They work so well as friends. As this whole time jump actually did quite a disservice to them, because i need to understand when and how did Jae Pil start having feelings for her to believe it. You cannot just jump from him loving JH to now liking YR with literally zero transition, just a hard cut. I honestly hope none of them will end up with him. I want the 3 of them to stay as friends only.

I still would love to see Yeong Rye and Jeong Hyeon together. The moment when he said she got pretty, and it makes him worried and he prefered when she was ugly hahaha I cannot. I guess that's improvement 😂 But that's also why I could vibe with then - him being gone, now showing up and treating her differently, I could understand why she would fall for him. But with YR and JP... they knew each other and he had zero feelings towards her. From their interactions... she treated him past 7 years the same way she treated him at the beginning... so why and when did he fall for her? What made his feelings change?

because the show never gave me any reason or good backstory to actively root for them < this. They gave characters "plot driven drama" set up and writing, but tried to write "slice of life character driven plot" and it just did not work at all...

First of all love triangle prediction after that 7 years time jump. Yeong Rye obviously still likes Jae Pil. And Jae Pil started to develop feelings for her. As he about to confess and start dating her, Jong Hui comes back. She also still has feelings for Jae Pil. But seeing how he started to develop feelings for Yeong Rye, she will push him away romantically and give up on him, so Yeong Rye and Jae Pil will be the end game. She will still be happy, because it will be more of a found family trope for her, not a romance.

I hate it tho 🤣 Coz right now my favorite ship is Yeong Rye and Jeong Hyeon 😭 I love them so much 🤡
Anyway, for the characters and the shit that happened.

🤡 Ko Yeong Rye and Seo Jong Hui are fucking clowns and they are giving us the typical leads miscommunication/lack of communication trope. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU FRIENDSHIP LOL I was in the situation like that, when I was younger than them, far more hormonal and impulsive lol And guess what, me and my friend liked the same dude, and while hugging each other and crying we kept saying whomever he pick, we will be happy 🤣 no fucking breaking up with the guy and not confessing "for the other person". Like damn both of them screwed Jae Pil here 🥲

That said, damn she was amazing in these two new episodes in all the other aspects. The way she stood up for her coworkers, the way she is willing to help others and has a strong sense of justice and morals. Honestly badass! 🔥

🙄 Han Jae Pil... not an issue with the character, the issue with writing tho. I hate how much os a sharp cut they delivered his feelings. Like... dude was honestly in love with Jong Hui, he was so worried and emotional whenever anything concern her. Going from him in that snow scene feeling like he is about to go crazy from worry... to 7 years later happy smile towards Yeong Rye as the "boyfriend" (whenever he already is, or just starting to realize his feelings for her) just feels so... wrong to me. The transition is just too much, it feels cheap.

🤡 Jeong Hyeon MY MAN YOU LITERALLY BIG BRO ZONE YOURSELF I CANNOT. So many opportunities, but nah... he just had to keep calling her ugly like ARE YOU FUCKING 12? 🤣🤣🤣Still. I would die for a love line between him and Yeong Rye 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I actually find their chemistry the best out of all potential pairings.

😅 Ma Sang Cheol and Ko Yeong Sik and fun, but not really impactful. Currently named as main characters (also is it me or who the main, supporting and guest roles changes every fucking week lol), but they feel at times even less than supporting ones. Maybe now that we had 7 years time jump they will be more vital to the plot?

You know what's good about this drama? Even though I more or less know how it will end, the journey has surprisingly many twists and turns that makes is so fun to watch and so entertaining 🔥I did not expect to be this emotionally invested.

yeah but mainstream success does not mean quality, at least not for me. Usually the dramas that do decent in everything, but not amazing in anything are mainstream successes. Since they incorporate elements from many genres they also target wider audience, and more people watch it, even if just as a background noise.
