Un remake che vale la pena guardare
Ho amato questa storia.L'ho letta per la prima volta su WEBTOON e dal primo momento mi ha conquistata.
Avevo già trovato entusiasmante l'adattamento coreano.

A beautiful webtoon adaptation
I watched this for Takeru Satoh. Actually I had tried watching the Korean version but it didn't hold my interest and I dropped it so I wasn't expo much from this. But boy I was wrong. If I could rewatch it for the first time again I'll definitely choose that. What I liked - where do i start? The acting was phenomenal, the chemistry was electrifying, the villains were so evil you couldn't help hating them. I'm sorry but Reina's past didn't make me sympathetic towards her present actions. She chose to be evil and you can't always blame your past.
What I disliked - I don't know i think the music wasn't very memorable for me.
Overall review - as I said if I could forget everything and rewatch it again I would love to. Also Takeru Satoh as Suzuki Wataru was very hot.

A second life. A right and happy life.
This is a wonderful way to show how a remake must be done. Great storyline. There are no unresolved issues. Everything is wrapped up nicely. The actors magnificently played their roles well. Satoh Takeru never disappoints. But I applaud Koshiba Fuka as Misa. Love her sweet smile. The secondary characters were also excellent. Everything was perfect.
My favorite scene was when Wataru shared his future plans with her. I teared up with that... And also when Misa finally wins on her bet to fix the marriage between the two.
Everyone is wonderful. Just applaud the writers...
10/10...

The acting and cinematography overshadowed how unentertaining the screenplay is
The drama has little to no viewer impact, unjustifiable behavior of the villain, exxagerated music scoring, and some episodes were bland and lacks emotional impact to viewers.First, the most important factor to me when rating dramas are their impact. Wether the drama is measured with their shocking plot twists or heart wrenching emotions. This drama lacks it but should have possessed it by not revealing the most important revelations at an early time. It pisses me off that some revelations will be revealed and then it will be revealed again at the point of the view of the main character. Almost all revelations were revealed twice. This writing breaks the elements of surprise and impact to the viewer. Come on, this is not how the writer should write it. Reveal them once and at the right time.
Second, the music scoring is very exaggerated. This is the first Japanese drama that you will hear such a suspenseful music scoring for a wordful girl fight. It’s like the music is for a brutal killing scene but look at the characters they are just staring at each other.
Third, a bland climax for some episodes. You see, all episodes must have their own story circle. Meaning to say, they must have their own climax, sadly some episodes were bland but due to its cinematography and exxagerated scoring, they managed to pull it off.
Fourth, the unjustifiable character of the villain. The important element for a Japanese drama is the villain’s motive, the reason why they’re acting like that. All motives should be valid. Unfortunately, the drama failed to present the villain’s reasoning properly on how they can be like that kind of person. All viewers must validate the villain’s background. To make a successful villain is to make the viewers agree with your motive but I highly doubt if they agree with the villain in this drama.
Overall, the production managed to pull it off nicely with great acting of the cast and the cinematography but I hope that they will pay attention next time on how they will write their show.

Great but slightly stretched
Now I haven't seen the korean Ver. Because I'm not a huge fan of the FL, so I didn't know much about the story except that it's a revenge story, and my review is based on this being the only version I've watched so no comparing or anything. The story was great, it's very simple with hardly any plot holes which is great if you have a mind like me who keep pointing out mistakes. I also liked that they didn't show many scenes with the FL having being bullied or hurt and only showed flashbacks of the moments to gain enough sympathy without getting us heated up ~
there is, however, one thing I didn't understand in the time sequence in the plot but I discarded it because it's not very important.
Characters were spectacular, I liked the evil characters here xD but I didn't understand why they keep mentioning Reina's past, as if I'm supposed to feel sorry for her, she needed help probably if it wasn't for the need of a replacement, I would like her to be locked in a mental hospital somewhere 😂
The chemistry between the two leads was fantastic, I loved them both despite being slightly irritated by Takeru's very low-pitched, slightly whispery and throaty voice xD don't get me wrong, he could just stand there and I would admire him immediately, but in some scene his voice was distracting me xD I mean that in the nicest way ~
What I didn't like was probably the last 3 episodes, everything was amazing and ended perfectly on ep7 or so, it was the perfect revenge plan I think the best revenge was to have the bad people facing eachother, but since things have to happen I understand why the kept the story going, still it could be solved in like 30 mins or so not 3 whole episodes ~
Overall very good, up till ep7 at least ~

Korean version is way better
Here is my honest review since most of the reviews by a lot of influencers were sponsored. No hate to the actors but the drama is not as good as how the influencers have hyped up the show.Marry my husband Korean version gave me soo much adrenaline rush and the revenge part hit soo hard. But the Japanese version did not. (Like it was soo satisfying to watch the villains get married in Korean version here it was veryy meh) The revenge part was not at all hitting hard. The main actors have done a great job but the villains were not strong enough. This version also lacked humor. One thing better than the Korean version I'd say is the Ending (the Korean version dragged the ending with Boa's character)
For me the perfect version would be Korean version till the villains get married and the Japanese version after the villains get married.

I prefer this drama than the original version
This version have better ending than original k-drama version, the revenge plot was fun. The show did not drag, nor did it feel rushed, 10 episode are perfect to end this drama. The story a little bit different from the previous one, but actually adds more excitement. The main leads have more chemistry here. The evil characters, the villains, were truly vile in this version. I loved how they concluded the fate situation. Was this review helpful to you?

ooo okay i see u japan!
as much as i loved this show, let me say that i could not stop comparing it to the korean version. yes they are 2 very seperate but similar shows and thats on me. anyway, i really did like this show and i wish they gave us more of a big ending bc yes they did end up tg but i wanted some kids 💔. i liked the ML's character and actor. he was on top of his game and i will be checking into more of his dramas. i feel like everyone in the show did their big one and not just the leads bc reina and tomoya had be fed up! i really loved the concept of like the book in a room and like rewriting the story bc it did fit the theme of the show anyway. also the scene where reina had messed up misa and tomoya's engagement by announcing her "pregnancy" was phenomenal. it was very curated ig? idk how to explain it but them (misa and reina) being on stage while wataru was watching felt so satisfying. misa finally lived her dreams of being on stage :) this show will get a 9/10 for me js bc i felt like it needed more (idk what) but it was a very great adaptation. Was this review helpful to you?
Karma is a B.
After careful consideration, I decided to experience the Japanese version. My decision was also influenced by Takeru Satoh, whose work I have admired since his drama 'An Incurable Case of Love'. I found this version to be a worthwhile viewing experience. While the Korean version remains unparalleled in its depth and detail, both adaptations effectively convey the core narrative despite their differences.Currently, I am seeking recommendations for dramas within the revenge genre, as "DEAR X" is not yet complete. This particular drama was highly enjoyable, especially witnessing the protagonist's transformation through self-love. Sei Shiraishi's portrayal of the antagonist was exceptionally compelling, and the numerous scenes that evoked strong emotions kept me engaged and motivated to complete the series. The entire cast delivered outstanding performances. This marks my first experience watching two different versions of the same drama.
I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for other compelling villain and revenge-themed dramas. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

well done!
Very charming and healing romance drama! I had low expectations because of my disappointment with the Korean drama, but this drama really surprised me. This was a drama more about emotional healing and personal growth.Story: It's about Misa who has a second chance at her life after going back in time after her dying. She has a chance to change her life while getting revenge on those that killed her. This drama was more slice of life and introspective and had more character development than the kdrama, which I felt was all melodrama and makjang. Misa was able to grow and prioritize herself. The revenge wasn't as dramatic as the kdrama but was still satisfactory. The romance was super sweet and adorable, with Misa and Wataru both being awkward but cute together. I loved the slow burn romance and their proposal scene was so romantic!
And of course the villains! Reina has some serious problems. I appreciate that the drama showed how someone's childhood can affect their life. she was a great foil to Misa. Toyoma was actually kinda meh in this drama and the husband in the kdrama was better.
Cast: Koshiba Fuka did wonderful showing Misa's growth and character development. And Satoh Takeru absolutely nailed it as Wataru. These two had great chemistry.
Shiraishi Sei's performance as Reina was intense! She did such a good job showing Reina's breakdown. I do think Lee Yi Kyung in the kdrama for the husband role did much better than Yokoyama Yu.
Overall, I'm glad I watched this! 9/10

It's a bit bland compared to the Korean version
The leads in this one had great chemistry & especially the ML fit the role better than his Korean counterpart. The production is great, with wonderful cinematography & some very attractive OST songs.Ultimately why I think the Korean version is better is because outside of the main romance everything regarding the plot is better there. Sure the Japanese adaptation is similar enough, the main plot is still essentially the same, however the excitement & the vengeful plotting is largely toned down in the J. version. The kdrama is a makjang that is unusually tame and tolerable & this one is no longer in that genre. Which is not necessarily negative, but the side characters whether it's the casting or their re-characterization are strongly on the boring side and so is the corporate plot presented this way. So in my mind we went from 50% romance 50% entertaining vengeance plotting to 50% romance, 50% boring filler. Nonetheless this drama is still worth a watch for the leads..

Korean vibe!
Just finished watching this series and honestly, I’d recommend it. It was pretty entertaining for a bunch of reasons. First off, the actors really nailed their roles. And the plot twists? They showed up at just the right moments and kept things exciting. That said, there were a couple of things that made me rate it a bit lower. The biggest one for me was that it had a very strong Korean drama vibe. Since I usually watch Japanese dramas, I picked up on that style right away, and it felt a little off to me.
Also, the tone was kind of all over the place—sometimes it felt like a typical drama with gossip, betrayal, and office drama; other times it leaned into crime thriller territory; and then suddenly it would shift into something almost supernatural.
Still, overall, it was a fun watch and I’d say it’s worth checking out.
