I think this series makes me wonder if I really knew what I was in for when I started watching this drama. I didn't…
I also feel the plot is overly focused on the court politics of Yongzhou. There is not enough focus on the leads. I hope it will improve in the second half of the drama.
Lmao the scene when Feng Qiwu and Bai Fengxi are figuring out how the troupe committed the crime and Lanxi is behind like the third wheel looking perplexed at not being the centre of attention or the most brilliant person in the room... Laughed so hard.
I started Tomorrow but it was too dark and upsetting. Don't watch it if you have a history of trauma or mental health issues, or if you're sensitive. It's very triggering.
I liked this drama, but it won't go down as one of my favourites personally... Some aspects were great, the OST,…
For me the young Heavenly Emperor and his crew took up too much screentime too imo. If this drama had been refined a bit more it could have been great.
Maybe there are just some people who don't share your view... That's ok isn't it? I'm sure there are some dramas…
Is this a thing? People are racist towards her? I thought considering how many actors and actresses have eyelid surgery to appear less Han Chinese that her looks would be popular. Those big eyes!
It is an interpretation ending. If you wish to be happy, then she emerges from the lava 300 years later after…
Agreed. I might rewatch the drama once it is subbed. My Mandarin is not fluent. I understand most of it, but may have missed more complex details or clues. Sometimes the 2nd watch is actually better.
Have been lurking. There is serious bullying on this thread. That is just other lurkers saying back off and let…
Agreed. Everyone here loves Asian dramas, this ganging up on people and not permitting an alternate view is toxic. I'm calling it out again now as I've done before. Do people not know how to agree to disagree anymore? It's not a war, it's just a drama for god's sake.

It's playground level immaturity. I have been attacked by that type of crowd before too. They are fanatic about their worship and will not permit a view that doesn't align with their own, no matter how politely or reasonably expressed. They will call them haters and be extremely harsh and tell someone to take their negativity elsewhere and go away. Outrageously rude and entitled. It makes the comment sections toxic.

I have to be honest, the worst bullying I've seen on MDL is from the lovers... They gang up and attack anyone who doesn't agree with them. Disliking something and expressing your dislike is not akin to bullying. The drama doesn't need defending from bullying, it's not conscious.
Bullying is when people are not allowed to express their POV and get labelled as haters. The fanaticism in this comment section is playground level immaturity.
This drama really is very similar to "What's wrong with Secretary Kim?" but falls flat in some places by comparison. I felt the FL was stronger than the ML in this drama, whereas for me the reverse was true in the former. I would love to see Park Seo Joon and Kim Se Jeong paired!
It's very triggering.
