i really love how candid U Jin is about his feelings, there is no beating around the bush, no playing mind games - he tells & show Hye Seong how much he likes him & it's really sweet & heartwarming to see the love in his eyes. *********************************but i really hate when a topic was brought up & then everything goes on as if it wasn't mentioned - in the previous ep U Jin asked Hye Seong about the color blindness & from then onwards there is no mention of this - so frustrating. i wanna know how & why it's such an important plot point - or is it. *************************************************************************************also i didn't get why Hye Seong need to postpone his studies abroad, usually this takes time - u don't just register & the sec u get accepted u go to that school the next week. the is a process & procedure to everything & it usually takes ages. but not in this BL. oh well -

what a stressful ep - idk why i was on edge the whole time. but throughout felt that something was gonna happen. also i don't get why Hye Seong's color blindness is an issue, something he has to hide - also didn't get how color blindness is connected to the fact he couldn't differentiate between left & right. ******************************************************************************& i get Tae Jun animosity towards Hye Seong as he hurt his bff, U Jin. but now starting to wonder, does he feel more for U Jin, then platonic friendship?!? & why was his joining on the beatification project a problem? cause U Jin was trying to hide the fact that Hye Seong is suffering's from color blindness? again, why is this something that needed to be kept a secret?!?

YuCi lets Jiang know that she understands that he wants her distant from everyone at the company. That small smile he gives that she gets it. He will not allow company colleague loyalties where he is not in control. This is especially clear in upper management. That he chooses her office attire to his quality while her style preference shows the degree of control he expects. He goes right to the ‘friendships’ of her and LiangLiang and MuRan. He knows it’s complicated and he wanted a reaction from YuCi. When she described her ‘friendship’ with them as a tool to be utilized for the company, he seemed content with that response. She noted her original blindness to the B side of friendships. The A side is where you see the loyalty, support and even love from those close to you. The B side is the reality. It is the face and sentiment they don’t want you to see. Where you really stand in their hearts and minds. YuCi is much better equipped to see the whole picture of ‘friends’ now. I had noticed the last few episodes that LiangLiang had Lego on her desk. This must be a de stresser for her. It was very fitting that YuCi used that hobby to get her attention drawn back to her father. I am curious about why a wealthy man would let his daughter be taken with no further contact ever made. It is a layer of mystery that adds to LiangLiang’s fractured personality. I am both impressed and creeped out that she has a replica of her childhood home in Lego. She has been put in the same position as Ren. Her success at Lysen will depend on not catering to bf’s expectations. They will not be allowed to be allies within the company. MuRan is very like Yu in resenting the demotion. LiangLiang is trying to make things clear to him about the vote being a formality to what Jiang wanted to happen. MuRan is not taking the news well and there is now a definite rift between them. MuRan has ambition, but he’s lazy and self indulgent. This will always backfire on him. We are introduced to Han CongFei. He was the reporter on the scene when YuCi and her mom were taken by ambulance to their respective hospitals. She has him looking into the Beauty Pearl society and keeping LiangLiang delayed from getting the contact she wants to track down her father. He offers to investigate Chen Mo and she makes it clear they aren’t confidantes and are using each other for specific results. She warns him to keep to that arrangement. While he can’t stop the wheels churning with his questions about Chen Mo, he does realize his best interest is to toe the line. Ren is forthright and just flat out asks what YuCi’s intentions are with Yu. YuCi lets her know she will always see him as manager Yu and Ren is satisfied with that answer. After the ‘vote’, dept three was moved up to dept two. Yu is still being recalcitrant in his actions and makes dept three look bad with dept two. Chen Xi is being investigated and no longer with the company. YuCi sets the combined departments straight that good work is the bottom line. The old ways will no longer work for them. Here Jiang is getting some clap back for letting his lover run things when she was not that capable. I liked we were allowed to see the meal with YuCi and Yu. He is still pouting, but he has seen her in action and knows things are not simple. He is puzzled and annoyed when she tells him to listen to Ren. I don’t think he expected that advice. She laid it out for him that at the company they must be distant but that outside the company they are friends. He is accepting enough of it to have a drink with her and have his meal put on her tab. She lets him know that her stay will be short and that management will go as it should with her departure. Winds of change are coming to Lysen. This company was never her choice. But now that her ‘ friends’ got her here via ChuXia, she is making the best of it.

The Practical Guide to Love Episode 6

As stated in the headline, I am so close to drop this drama. I might give this drama a chance for one more week, if my feelings still remain intact, and I am sorry I will have to drop it.I love Han Ji Min, but even she can't save this writing. This drama had immense potential. The cliffhanger threw me off. It might seem to be a necessary but the timing of that plot was not efficient. I really don't know, how the drama will go ahead from now on. One of the weakest episode of this series.

I think it was mymost anticipated slap from a drama. The whole episode is really good as we can finally see their true feeling. The conversations are matured and rekindled their feeling.Glad all the boys are doing well from injuries after battle. And ofc SYQ is rescued and retreat to Liu city dt back up army from capital arrived. OK I can expect no more XZ battle scenes becuz today fishing and spar scene is so beautiful. And the storyline progress to political intrigues and more violence in upcoming episodes .

Episode 27 of Pursuit of Jade really said bonk first, feelings later, and honestly I respect that energy. Chang Yu opening the episode with that solid head smack to Xie Zheng was everything I didn’t know I needed, equal parts justice and comedy gold. It wasn’t even about him being Marquis Wu’an, it was the emotional whiplash of lies plus that out of nowhere kiss and his bold “as long as I’m alive, you’re mine” line. Sir, that may sound hot to us, but to her it screams slap me please. And that smack delivered. The way Xie Zheng looked like his soul briefly left his body had me cackling, but what did he expect going up against pig butcher strength. Consider that one hit repayment for 26 episodes of deception. The episode then tried to pull a fast one on us with Man Di, and I was already bracing for heartbreak thanks to the soldier Chang Yu spared, only to find out he survived because of the heart guard from his sister. Crisis averted, emotional damage reduced, and honestly it made the rest of the episode breathe a lot easier. Then came the comedy duo we didn’t know we needed, Xie Zheng and Yin Gong Sun, truly birds of a feather. Yin Gong Sun acting like he was on his deathbed over a tiny scratch and preparing fake blood like he’s auditioning for best actor, only to accidentally spit it out when Grand Tutor Tao showed up early, was peak chaos. I laughed way too hard at that entire sequence. The long awaited meeting between Xie Zheng and Grand Tutor Tao did not disappoint either, especially with that hilarious parallel conversation where both of them were talking about the same girl without realizing it. Even the guards were like wait a minute, aren’t they talking about the same girl. That conversation gave me déjà vu over Grand Tutor Tao’s conversation with Chang Yu, both talking about Xie Zheng. Anyways, when the truth clicked and Grand Tutor Tao hit him with “you’re the matrilocal husband?” while Xie Zheng countered with “you went to fix the dam?” I lost it. Absolute cinema. But the real heart of the episode came quietly after all the chaos. That late night scene where neither of them could sleep, leading to fishing, then talking, then sparring, felt like calm water after a storm. Their sparring scene was simply beautiful, no flashy effects, just two people in sync, moving like poetry. Xie Zheng fighting with one hand, Chang Yu nearly getting caught by a branch and him stopping it just in time, the way he guided her and the way she eagerly learned, it all screamed power couple in the most understated, melancholic and sentimental way. And then the soft landing, the reconciliation, the words that melted everything. Him saying he’d move to Lin’an and that his time as Yan Zheng was the happiest in his life was dangerously sweet. Add in him admitting he’s more afraid of her hitting him again and her calling him out for that random kiss, followed by that gentle shoulder pull and her leaning in, I was gone. Completely smitten. I love that they didn’t drag the conflict and stayed true to Chang Yu’s straightforward nature, while Xie Zheng continues to be soft only for her. This episode had everything, comedy, tension, tenderness, and that kind of romance that sneaks up on you and lingers. I’m officially obsessed and very ready for what’s next.

After punishment or no punishment debate, CY have her own fan base in the camp. XZ and CY having good time of breeze. But the most interesting thing for this EP is enemies General POV like they are willing to rescue POW at the same time planning to abandon him. This is the very chilling plot for story progress as our ML and FL summer camp will go anihilition in one strike. But don't worry, CY go to battlefield to replace her hubby YZ , lost butcher cleaver and end butcher era by getting big fish first blood and whoops all XZ lies exposed. The choreography for Epic battle sequence is really great, immersive and XW emotional delivery is very nice .But that didn't justify the whole messy writing of last few ep . Still hooking to story cuz we will have revelation scene in next Ep.

I knew it. My intuition was right. That Ryuzo is no good as a man. He’s such a hypocritical and insecure pathetic loser disguised as a ‘gentleman’. Ugh. 😑 I hate him so much. He even beat his wife while knowing she was doing the right thing for his own business that he was struggling to manage on his own. Then she had to apologize for humiliating him, because “he’s a proud man…” and his wife should be sorry for hurting his pride. This mindset was normalized in the old days and sadly, somehow I still see it in my society now. The elderly always say that if a wife is better than her husband, that family is ruined, as no ‘masculine’ man would want his woman to take control of the family and humiliate him in front of others. Another sad thing is that Oshin let her husband beat her. It’s actually understandable, when she grew up in an abusive family, when her father beat her and her mother, and then her father and older brother was using her for money. I think she’s used to it and doesn’t consider it as a big deal. She’s thinking that she deserves to be hit, because ‘she has hurt her husband’s feelings’. I’ve met some women like this in real life. They always make some excuses for why their husbands treat them badly. I actually just argued with my mom about this recently. The elderly still believe that a wife should be taught and disciplined well, so a husband has the right to ‘discipline’ his wife. I personally think there’s absolutely no excuse for a man to beat his wife. I’m so sick of it! Things are getting better and I hope we can get rid of this mindset forever soon.If this were a modern drama with modern values, I would sue the screenwriters for letting Oshin endure this man. In my opinion, Oshin should better off unmarried and run her own business. This jerk has come into her life and I’m sure he will ruin it. It’s so sad for me to see how Oshin always wanted to make it on her own and not suffer in marriage like her mother did, but now might end up following the exact same track. Anyway, I always feel that Oshin looks happiest when she’s around her supportive women. So far she had been protected, and helped a lot by wonderful women. She’s also learnt a lot of things from the women in her life. I love and respect most of the female characters so far. For now, I wish the best for the cafe girls and the hairdressing shop owner lady, and the young maid at the hairdressing shop.

A highly impactful performance to close this part of the story. Xiao Zhan delivers strong emotions through both expression and voice. Every scene carries weight, and his portrayal leaves a lasting impression. It feels like all the character development has built up perfectly to this moment.
